ISSUE

Last year we ran a very successful investor marketing campaign for the company. After reorganizing a bit and going through a quiet period, the company started to make news again, however, investors were not paying attention. The company’s share price was also well below what they thought was a fair valuation.

SOLUTION

The last time we worked with the company, we redesigned their website, perfected their story, and made them several assets such as explainer videos to optimize investor conversion. With that in place, we knew we needed to concentrate on outreach. The company wanted us to be aggressive in our efforts, so we did just that. We began by placing advertisements on several investment newsletters and created a robust pay per click program across several platforms. While doing this we continued to work with the company to monitor the analytics on their website, as well as any feedback from investors. By continuing the optimization process we maximized investor acquisition.

OUTCOME

The chart on the left shows that the campaign was a success. The company went from .20 to a high of $1.70 per share. The company acquired the attention of the investors and is closer to their perceived fair valuation. The company is now ready to continue growing its business.

ISSUE

The company was having trouble attracting shareholders and needed an edge to compete with the more established biotech companies on the market. The biotech sector is highly competitive and the company was setting up for major growth. They are a very exciting company with talented executives. What they needed, however, was a strategy to not only attract but to also engage and convert a variety of new shareholders.

 

SOLUTION

We quickly realized traditional methods would be costly and have a small ROI. Thinking critically, we came up with a solution that required more of an approach that allowed for investors to find them and not trying to go out and compete with the same investors’ everyone else was. This led us to really dig into the “investor’s journey”. Where do they start their journey to become a shareholder and how can we be there right from the beginning? How do we establish them as a leader in their space? How do we engage with them to keep them on track? Finally, how do we get investors to convert from interested and engaged to confident and committed shareholders?

 

OUTCOME

We implemented an advanced content strategy that included a new website, search engine optimization, inbound marketing and a pay per click campaign. While the answer was simple the strategy was complex. Everything had to be done perfectly for it to work. Our efforts and out of the box thinking quickly became a winner for the company and Hilton Advisory.

In the second half of 2014, the biotech sector had a negative effect on investors and biotech companies alike. The company was still executing upon its long-term growth strategy and delivering encouraging results. However, the company’s stock was undervalued and options for financing were almost non-existent.

The company had some awareness among short-term traders, however, was still unknown to long-term biotech investors. We created a content strategy aimed to get the company in front of these investors. We focused on placing their story where investors were looking rather than strictly utilizing traditional outreach methods.

They have been featured in investment reports and followed by analysts. They have also caught the eye of some larger investors which has delivered over 4 million dollars in financing so far. The program exceeded expectations, attracting billions in market liquidity, a 4,650% increase in share valuation and a committed shareholder base. Following the initial success of the campaign, Hilton Advisory continues to assist the company in creating content to engage both potential and current investors as the company works to prove the efficacy of their PRP treatment. The goal is to continue to improve their ability to raise capital and uplist to a higher exchange.
